This data flow is sent to Other ITS roadway equipment in order to provide local device coordination and contains control information to remotely control automated field devices along the roadway that treat the road surface (anti-icing, de-icing, etc.) and the environmental sensors that indicate when activation of those devices is required. The data flow consists of the following data items each of which is defined in its own DDE:
