10.5.2: Support Information Technology Maintenance
This process shall support the technicians that locally or remotely troubleshoot, initialize, reprogram, and test IT assets that support ITS operations. This process shall interface either remotely or locally with center based functions to support maintenance, repair, and upgrade. This process shall support an operator interface to present the status of the managed equipment and systems. This process shall accept inputs from an operator to change settings of what systems are being monitored as well as initiate changes to the system configuration, including software installations or hardware resets. Upon initiation from the operator or on a schedule this process shall send commands to center based systems to change or set equipment settings or software configuration settings. Upon initiation from the operator or on a schedule this process shall send software installation or upgrade software to the center based systems under its management and control. The results of the maintenance support actions will be presented to the operator.
