1.8.2.1: Manage Direct Traffic Regulation Distribution

This process shall collect traffic regulation information to be distributed directly to field devices managed by this function and to specialty vehicles, such as emergency vehicles or maintenance and construction vehicles. This process shall monitor the status of the field devices in order to determine when conditions have changed that may affect the traffic regulations or in order to schedule repairs on the devices by coordinating with the Manage Maintenance and Construction process. This process shall interact with the Provide Operator Interface for Traffic Regulation process in order to provide data concerning changes to traffic regulations that require approval by the Rule Maker / Agent. Then this process shall act upon that approval from the Rule Maker/Agent to begin the dissemination process.
